Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to use Kartisiya: the people who carry a business's stamp card on their phone, and the businesses that give them out. This page says what we have done, what we know is still missing, and how to reach us.

The standard we work to

  • We are working to make this site meet the Israeli Standard IS 5568, which is based on the international guidelines WCAG 2.1 at level AA, as the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility) Regulations, 2013, require.
  • The work so far was done in-house. An outside accessibility expert has not checked the site yet; that check is planned, and this page will be updated after it.

What we have done

  • Every page says its own language and reading direction (Hebrew right to left, English left to right).
  • Text and buttons have enough contrast with their background, and the site can be zoomed in. If text is enlarged, the card page scrolls instead of cutting off.
  • Buttons and images carry names for screen readers. The question about messages from the business can be used with a keyboard and closes with the Escape key.
  • Animations stop on their own, and phones set to reduce motion see still pictures.
  • The one-minute film on the home page has music only; its story is also written out for screen readers.
  • There is a link at the top of each page to skip straight to the content.

What we know is not there yet

  • The stamp card itself lives in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet on your phone. Those apps are made by Apple and Google, and their accessibility depends on them.
  • Each business chooses its own card design. Some colours and pictures on cards may be harder to read.
  • The film is in Hebrew only, with Hebrew captions.
  • The screen for typing a card's code works for 30 minutes, for security. After that, the person at the counter can stamp your card.
  • Some screens for business owners and staff are still being improved.

The businesses

Kartisiya makes the digital stamp card. The accessibility of each business's premises and service is the business's responsibility.

Something not working for you?

Tell us what you tried to do and where it got stuck. We will answer and fix what we can. You can also ask for help at the counter: the staff can stamp your card for you.
